This was an animation I created for ROX Promotions for one of their upcoming music festivals Boundary Brighton. The visuals in this animation was solely created by myself from start to finish including all of the artwork besides the use of a few assets. I've used this style of animation a few times in my work and I'm really proud on how it turned out. Luke from ROX promotions was kind enough to include a testimonial for the completed work. "Russell's work for us was outstanding and delivered in an extremely timely fashion. I was surprised at just how good the first draft received from Russell was as it was so close to the brief and exactly what I had envisioned. He made the requested changes and added some nice little touches. The whole project was complete in a matter of days and I will be confidently recommending Russell to anyone who asks. I am very pleased with the final video produced."

Genius Brewing recently asked me to create a short animation to showcase the benefits of their low calorie/ low alcohol beer. In the brief they requested for the final result to have a bit of a 2.5D feel to it. I thought this would be a great opportunity to take the background that they use on their can and individually suspend all the the different sketches within the background into 3D space, giving the impression that the camera is traveling through the background as it approaches each information segment.

In case you haven't noticed, this is an intro for my website to use at the start of some of my future personal videos. The Brief The lightbulb icon for my website is is suppose to visualise the word 'creative' and in case you didn't notice there's also my initials hidden in the logo. I wanted to use this to my advantage and create a animation of the bulb switching on.

This is a very short animation showcasing a style of animation that I wanted to try out. Consisting of a few landscape layers with a paper texture put into 3D layers in After effects. I wanted to try and make this look like it could of been made with a real camera and some paper cut outs to create a landscape. I may come back to this video at a later date to turn into a full animation if I find a use for it!

This video was created for VeriSmart, a company providing Inventory and Compliance reporting to the Lettings industry. The Breif This is one of 12 videos to showcase all of the different services they have to offer. This particular one is to go over their Smoke & Co Alarm Testing service. They supplied me with a script going over the the importance of having fully working smoke and co alarms in rented properties, then going over the services they can provide. All of the artwork and animating was done by me.
